The Called: Welcome Home was born from a simple but powerful belief: No life is beyond the reach of God's grace, no story is too broken to matter, and no person should have to walk through life's hardest moments believing they must walk alone.

This isn't about pretending life is perfect. It isn't about having all the answers, quoting the right Scriptures, or convincing the world that we've somehow figured everything out.

It's about being real.

It's about faith when faith is difficult. Hope when hope seems impossible. Forgiveness when the wounds still hurt. And grace when we feel least deserving of it.

It's about the extraordinary ways God works through ordinary people.

And sometimes, it all begins with a conversation over a cup of coffee.

The Called began as a story, but the heart behind it has always been something much greater than words printed on a page.

Through The Called book series and The Called: Welcome Home podcast, we open the door to conversations that matter.

Conversations about the things we sometimes struggle to say out loud.

About loss and second chances. About family, forgiveness, and redemption. About the quiet courage it takes to begin again. About those moments when God places someone in our lives at precisely the time we need them, even when we don't recognize His hand at work.

Here, we don't believe you need a perfect testimony to have a powerful one.

We believe some of the most beautiful stories of God's grace begin in the places where life has left us most wounded.

Our hope is that every book you read and every conversation you hear will remind you of something deeply important:

Your past does not have to define your future. Your struggles do not diminish your worth. And your story isn't over simply because you've reached a chapter you never expected to live.

From My Heart to Yours

I'm Michael Rivera, author of The Called book series and the voice behind The Called: Welcome Home podcast.

I don't come to this table claiming to have all the answers.

I come as someone who believes deeply in the power of faith, the beauty of grace, and the difference one person can make in another person's life.

I've come to understand that sometimes the greatest gift we can give someone isn't advice, an explanation, or even a solution.

Sometimes it's simply our presence.

A listening ear. An open heart. A hand extended without judgment. A reminder that they still matter.

That's the heart I want behind every story we tell and every conversation we share.

I want this to be a place where questions are welcomed, tears don't need to be hidden, laughter is cherished, and nobody feels they have to put on a brave face just to belong.

Because faith isn't always found in grand moments.

Sometimes it's found in a quiet conversation, an unexpected friendship, a second chance, or a simple act of kindness that changes someone's entire world.

And sometimes, the most powerful words a hurting person can hear are simply:

"Pull up a chair. There's room for you here."
